Cocottine

Cocottine marks another outing by Groupe FLO, completely cutting Cafe FLO in Parkview Green and rejuvenating the space with fresh greens and classy golds, as well as a "patio" around the side complete with lit-up trees. The menu focuses on rustic, European dining, especially those dishes cooked using the item that inspired its namesake – Cocottine – a small French cooking pot known for its resiliency and the flavors it instills its contents through slow cooking.

Rive Gauche

The French-styled all-day dining restaurant at The Puxuan, Rive Gauche is touted as "a slice of bohemian Paris right in the heart of Beijing." Headed by executive chef Ivan Miguez, formerly executive sous chef at three Michelin-starred Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet in Shanghai, the menu is simple, featuring just a handful of starters and mains with interesting twists on French cuisine, all handled with tremendous aplomb.

Coupled with a terrace with fantastic views over the Forbidden City, Rive Gauche is positioned as a contender among Beijing's top Western restaurants.

Bistro 108

Deep in the embassy district, down an alleyway opposite the US embassy lies one of Beijing's best terraces. Casual French restaurant Bistro 108 and its neighboring restaurants (including Italian trattoria La Villa) share a long terrace that is one of the hottest spots for dining and drinking during Beijing summers.
