Longwan International Motor-caravanning Campsite

Longwan wetland camp site has 13 multi-function zones with well-equipped facilities, including a reception center, main camp area, caravan camp zone, tent camp zone, entertainment area, European style wooden houses, an outdoor activity exhibition area, and an auto-themed food court.

The camp is able to accommodate 200 RVs, 300 self-drive RVs, 150 log cabins, and has an area for 400 tents, allowing for over 2,000 people at one time.

Attractions nearby include Longqing Gorge (10km), Wild Duck Lake Wetland (25km), Badaling Great Wall (30km), Ming Dynasty Tombs (40km)

Beijing Outdoor Adventure Club

The Beijing Outdoor Adventure Club is a group of enthusiastic explorers of all ages and fitness levels who want to experience something new and amazing every time they head out of town! Sponsored by Cycle China, the Beijing Outdoor Adventure Club organizes regular free, split-cost, and paid bicycle tours, hiking excursions and outdoor adventures mostly in and around Beijing, but sometimes throughout China. Members are encouraged to organize their own trips, and can contact Cycle China to help arrange at-cost transportation if need be.

Baihe Trailhead (Miyun County)

Baihe River’s trail is located further upriver, in Huairou District. From the entrance gate, the river is about four kilometers away on fairly decent trails. There are camping spots on both sides of the river, but cross over to the far side for better views and more privacy. If camping is not your cup of tea, stay in local village guesthouses.
