对电子音乐爱好者来说，San Proper 的独特个性就是阿姆斯特丹这座电音之都的象征，循着他潇洒的身影在城市夜晚留下的印记，拥有充满活力俱乐部的 Trouw、伟大而杰出的 Rush Hour、有着高品质盛大音乐节的 Dekmantel 和声名远扬的 Red Light Radio 等阿姆斯特丹本地电子音乐厂牌和组织密切地串联在一起，可以说找到了 San Proper，你就找到了这座城市里最杰出的电子音乐社群和场景，他们的密切关系滋养着这座城市地下电子音乐跳动的生命力。

San Proper 在阿姆斯特丹城市各处的俱乐部和咖啡馆担任 DJ，塑造一个个令人难忘的夜晚，人们往往会在烟雾缭绕的 After hour 时段遇见他的马拉松 DJ set，那是一个什么样的场景？整个音响系统只剩下一台正常工作的唱机和两只劈啪作响的扬声器，他从容更换着唱片，就像掏出一颗又一颗蒙尘的宝石，偶尔真诚地抓住你的胳膊说，“这是最棒的唱片！”

说起这位土生土长的阿姆斯特丹人的音乐历史，可以追溯到他在各大乐队担任吉他手的日子，1999年作为 Funk 乐队 The Mindmenders 的一员，还获得过荷兰著名的流行音乐大奖 The Grand Prize，收获了相当大的知名度。San Proper 一直保持着属于他自己的 DIY 方式，在制作音乐和表演时保持高强度的能量，Rock’N’Roll 的态度也深入灵魂。

2007年他的个人首张专辑《Proper A'dam Family》系列在 Rush Hour 厂牌发行问世后，他也成为了 Rush Hour 家族中有着重要价值的成员之一。这一系列发行很快引发了令人惊叹的关注度：Laurent Garnier 对 Proper &O'Boogies 的《Magnificent Speech Funk》进行了新编曲；Ricardo Villalobos 邀请他为 Vasco EP 中的《Electonic Water》一曲进行 Remix；Zip 则把他签约到著名大厂 Perlon，发行了《Keep It Raw》EP。

随后几年 San Proper 也在许多极具影响力的厂牌发行音乐，全世界的音乐爱好者们逐渐认识到在荷兰低地的电子音乐力量之崛起，2010年 Dekmantel Record 的第三张出版即 San Proper 的12寸黑胶《Sex Drive Rhythm》让 San 的名字在国际上越走越远，在这张唱片中，他所运用的打击鼓组充满灵巧，又令人眼花缭乱，老式合成器和各种乐器的音色和自由音调各自带来十分独特的生命力，灵魂交互弹跳浑然一体，让人见识了一种有着大师般从容的电子乐创作：自由抓取电子设备的工具属性，保持松弛和摇摆，在单纯而有趣的结构中，创造出真正富有生命力的音乐。

“有人天生伟大，有人成就伟大”，阿姆斯特丹人称他为 Doctor 实至名归：二十年间，San Proper 出版发行了50余张作品；作为有着令人不可否认的表演天赋的艺术家，他的 DJ 表演可以轻松地将 Soul、Funk、Hiphop与 Rock、Dub、Disco、House 创造出令人惊叹的完美混合。他对 Soul、Funk 音乐的热情，也正通过他每月在 Red Light 电台主持的“Dr. San Proper Soul Show”节目中得以传播，非常值得一听；San Proper 独特的主持风格会让你获得非凡的感受！

有人称之为“老炮儿”，也有人称之为“ Old school ”，Dennes Deen 赢得全世界尊重和认可的最重要原因是：他是一名真正意义上的 DJ，而不仅仅是一名 DJ / 制作人；Dennes Deen，这位充满激情和永不停歇的绝对正统 DJ，已经在这个领域战斗了20多年。

1996年，从部队退役的 Dennes 经常徘徊在维也纳最臭名昭著的俱乐部外，他年纪太小无法进入俱乐部，但他仍孜孜不倦地向活动组织方、俱乐部会员、工作人员甚至保安分发他的混音带。17岁时，他追逐梦想的付出总算得到了回报：在奥地利最受尊敬、历史最悠久的俱乐部 Volksgarten，Dennes 成为了驻场 DJ。

在 Volksgarten 这个他职业生涯开始的地方，多年来，每周日的早上是他的 DJ 时段，他将深邃而充满旋律感的 Soul 音乐与强劲滚动的 Techno 音乐融合在一起，向这种融合风格的原创美国大师们 DJ Sneak, Vasquez, Carter, MAW 等取经——Dennes 在 Volksgarten 打造了属于自己的声音，并赢得了传奇声誉，他给城市俱乐部的周末带来了一种新的风格。

从周末锐舞客到著名的 DJ，在90年代末与00年代的大部分时间里，Dennes 都用他的律动尽情招待了所有玩家。作为奥地利远近闻名的“ Sleep-stealers (盗眠者) ”之一，他的名声传遍全球各地，在无数国家和城市最著名的场所与最著名的制作人/DJ 一起演出。

Dennes 更喜欢专注于他的 DJ 技巧，除非他有一个真正意义上的灵感，否则他不想轻易进入工作室。终于，他的第一张作品在他 DJ 了十多年后才出现在 Marco Bailey 的 MB Elektronics 里：2009年推出的《Skin Deep》和《Break It Up》得到了 Carl Cox、Umek 和 Valentino Kanzyani 等人的大力支持；随后，他在 Deep Dish 的著名厂牌 Yoshitoshi 发行了 Philipp Straub 的《Big City Lights》remix，同样好评如潮。

2012年，他击败了4万名候选人，成为 Burn Studios 的决赛选手，他因此受到启发，重建了自己的工作室，并在 Schönbrunner Perlen、LevelNONzero、Alchemy 和 DJ Sneak 的 I’m A House Gangster 等知名厂牌上发行了他的作品。

经过一段时间的休整后，今年，Dennes 带着两首精彩的 House 曲目回归，并将于 Focus Records 五月底推出；在这次北京演出前，他想把这两首曲目提前释放给大家。

如今，Dennes 带着他想要传播的讯息，并自豪地展示他的录音室技巧，准备将他20年来 DJ 生活方式中学到的知识，转化为他职业生涯中一个全新的声音篇章。你可以称之为“老炮儿”，也可称之为“Old school”，还可以称其为“下一段位”。

Beersmith's Queen Party is back! And this time we're dialling the theatrics up to 11.
