♥The Story of the Cowherd & the Fairy♥

Once upon a time, a common cowherd and a fairy from heaven fell in love. Their love was forbidden, and thus they were banished by the God of Heaven to opposite sides of the galaxy forever.

However, once a year, on the seventh day of the seventh moon, tens of thousands of magpies would form a bridge to reunite the lovers for one day. The first words they exclaimed when they saw each other after so long apart were… "te quiero, mi amor!" and then they feasted on paella and drank sangria, and the God of Heaven saw that they were so happy and decided to break the spell, and the two lovers salsa-ed home and lived together happily ever after. The end.

So that story may not be entirely accurate, but that's certainly how we wish it ended. Paella is definitely a food that has magical powers of bringing together true love. And on that note, check out the special Qixi set menu at Migas below!
