Technology is one of the fastest growing and most influential industries and the sector will grow expontentially in the next decade with the development of new technologies. Although women are lead adapters of technology, they are highly underepresented in technology:



  • Women made up 26% of the computing workforce in 2013 In the mid-1980s, 37% of computer science majors were women; in 2012, 18%

  • 57% of bachelor's degrees earned by women, 12% of computer science degrees

  • Google's workforce is only about 30% female

  • 7% of venture capital funding goes to women-owned businesses

  • 4.2% of investing VCs are women

  • 20% of software developers are women


Whether you can code, pitch, create, or calculate, there are so many opportunities for women in the tech industry. Beijing Women’s Network and JingJobs strive to promote and highlight women’s achievement in tech. We bring together two panels of entrepreneurial and corporate women to share their experiences working in different tech working environment in strategy, marketing, software development, and management in order to inspire more women to get involved in the tech industry.
