A Small Showcase of Music from the Label Kontra Musik ...

Swedes do it better ... but their modesty won’t allow them to admit it.  

Based out of the far southern end of Sweden (Malmö), Kontra Musik’s lack of proximity to the mainstream electronic music world might seem like an obstacle to creating and disseminating music.  Their isolation, however, has allowed them to create a singular sound with a magnetic energy that has attracted the attention across the global electronic music community.  

For this edition of ShadowPlay Essential, label head, Ulf Eriksson, joins label mate, TM404, for a small showcase of the sounds coming out of their wild Swedish minds to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kontra Musik.
