The epic ballet Xi Shi integrates symphonic orchestration, elegant ballet and the War between Wu State and Yue State into this work. Differing from traditional narration, this ballet adapts from history and legend, combines war and love, and tells the story of Xishi, Goujian, Fuchai and FAN Li, exploring the essence of human nature. This ballet revives XI Shi with dreamy stagecraft, poetic dance and a twisting plot, forming a dance drama of yarn and sword, blood and fire, and love and enmity.
