The European Chamber is delighted to be joined by authors Philippe Le Corre and Alain Sepulchre, who in their new book China’s Offensive in Europe, study the trends, sectors, and target countries of Chinese investments in Europe to explain why they consider China’s investment strategy in Europe as ‘a contrasting mix of economic opportunism and strategic vision’. The authors will highlight the broader impact of these changing patterns of investment; including the increasingly vocal calls for reciprocity from foreign companies investing in China.

After their presentation Mr Le Corre and Mr Sepulchre will be joined by the EU Chamber President, Joerg Wuttke and AmCham Chairman, William Zarit, to further debate another of Mr Le Corre's recent articles China’s Global Rise: Can the EU and US Pursue a Coordinated Strategy?
