Kids Spring Weekend Stage Theatre Camp

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

Beijing Playhouse Academy of Performing Arts, children’s theatre in partnership with Beijing Playhouse, announces open enrollment for the following kid’s theatre camp.

SHOW: Participants, age 6-14, will perform Jules Verne’s literary classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea with acting, song, and dance. Aspiring actors, singers, dancers, and musicians are all welcome. Some English proficiency is required.

DATES: Your child can have fun doing a play during the Spring Weekend Stage holiday. Camp lasts eight weeks, Saturdays, 9 am to 4 pm, and Thursdays, 5 pm to 8:30 pm, March 18 to May 6, 2017, ending with a family performance.

AUDITION/ENROLLMENT DATE: Everyone will be cast. Student auditions and enrollment are (tentatively) Saturday, January 14 at 10 am.

LOCATION: Daystar International School.

ROLE(S): All roles open. Boys and girls, age 6-14. (Theatre internships are also available for older students.)

TUITION: 9,000 RMB. 10% discount for those who enroll early on or before December 19, 2016.
