Beijing Warren Kayak Club is organizing the first kayak summer camp in Beijing history. The theme of the camp is to teach ACA (American Canoe Association) sea touring kayak level 1 and level 2 lessons. Students will learn and master long distance paddling skills, practice rescue drills, and learn knowledges related to kayak trips. At the end, students' learning will be assesed and their skill levels be certified by ACA. All of the students should be able to get level 1 certificate and some get level 2.

Each camp lasts five days. The dates are: July 17 - 21, July 24 - 28，July 31 - August 4, August 7 - 11, August 14 - 18, and August 21 - 25. The cost is RMB 4880, including equipments, ACA fee, meals and boarding.

The summer camp is going to be held in the Guan Tin Lake, about 2 hours drive northwest outside Beijing City.

Instructors are from US, Australia, and Switzland. English is the main language of the kayak summer camp. All coaching and teaching are done in English. However, all of our instructors have studied Chinese and are more or less able to communicate in Chinese.
