About two years ago, The Solid Gold Dream Machine's trombone blower found himself nearing the end of an incredibly productive six week long sobriety experiment. At the strike of midnight June 13th/14th 2015, approximately 1/3 of a bottle of Tequila was downed, swiftly ending the month and a half of clear-headedness, and so begun the Sweat Olympics.

This Saturday, the next (official) installment of sweat-related events will take place, and the birthday boy gets to call the shots. In addition to Solid Gold, Mr. Trombone has decided to invite his good friends “The Swinging Barbarellas” to join Solid Gold in bringing the heat.

As if that wasn't enough, proceeds from the door will be donated to “Artists Abroad”, an awesome project involved in importing/exporting artistic talent around the world.
