A Greater China trans-Tasman collaboration between Tom Champion from Little Creatures Hong Kong and Tom Ashton from Beersmith Beijing. TNT is a hoppy Australasian session IPA (India Pale Ale) featuring a liberal use of hops from Australia and New Zealand, the brewers’ respective homelands. Double dry hopped with equal amounts of Galaxy and Motueka hops, TNT is loaded with aromas of tropical and stone fruits. This one of a kind TNT launches on November 7 at Beersmith, Hotel Jen Beijing and on November 8, at Little Creatures Kennedy Town, from 7pm onwards.

Award winning Kiwi brewer Tom Ashton from Beersmith, Hotel Jen Beijing has collaborated Little Creatures Hong Kong Aussie Head Brewer Tom Champion to create TNT, an explosively hoppy yet approachable Australasian Session IPA.

TNT was brewed to bring together the two brewers’ shared philosophies of passion, quality and creativity.

“We wanted to have the big, bold hoppy aroma of an IPA, but also have the balance and drinkability you would expect from a Beersmith or Little Creatures beer,” says Tom Ashton from Beersmith, Hotel Jen Beijing.

Inspired by the Australasian style IPAs brewed back home, Tom and Tom designed the beer to showcase the distinctive hop characteristics of their native Australia and New Zealand.

“We hear about American hops so often in the brewing industry – yet both Tom and myself are fiercely proud of our home nations and the hops that are being produced there,” says Tom Champion from Little Creatures Hong Kong. “New Zealand and Aussie hops can add a really unique element to your beer, with Australian Galaxy and NZ Motueka being two highly regarded varieties by all our brewers back home.”

As a result, TNT is an amazing explosion of tropical fruit and citrus hop aroma and flavour. Weighing in at a sessionable 4.5% ABV, TNT has a soft bitterness and is balanced with a malt backbone of UK and Australian varieties.
