Murlo is the Manchester-based DJ, producer and visual artist breathing new life into the club experience in 2017. Known for a unique brand of intricate, colourful electronic music, Murlo’s output is informed in equal parts by his love of dancehall, soca, garage, bassline, grime and more.

As a producer, Murlo’s sound is unmistakeable. EPs with Unknown to the Unknown, Glacial Sound and Rinse led to him signing with Mixpak in 2014 – home to Popcaan, Palmistry and Dre Skull – where his three EPs have enjoyed widespread international acclaim. His remixes are the stuff of legend, most notably his jubilant version of Rihanna’s Work, now clocking over 2 million plays and apparently co-signed by Rihanna herself. See him at Dada on Friday.
