Ableton Live has been an essential software in both music production and live performance in the past decade. It’s simplicity and innovative functions separate Ableton from the rest and keeps it No.1 in the world of music. Yet, it hides many secrets, options that aren’t as obvious and easy to discover, so it’s always useful to attend a course or workshop in order to discover what Ableton is actually capable of.

Therefore, Back2Basics & Trust is organizing their first Ableton workshop on April 20th in Aurora club with a very special guest teacher coming over from Shanghai – GIULIO PERINELLO (IT).

在过去的十年里，Ableton Live一直是音乐制作和现场表演的重要软件，Ableton的简单和创新的功能使他脱颖而出，使它成为音乐世界的最受欢迎的软件。然而它还有很多强大的功能并非众所周知或者不太容易掌握，所以参加一个课程或研讨会来发现Ableton的更多功能总是很有用的。

因此，Back2Basics & Trust将于4月20日在Aurora俱乐部举办他们的首届Ableton研讨会，届时将有一位来自上海的特邀嘉宾——GIULIO PERINELLO (IT)。

Giulio is an experienced and all-round musician - with more than 20 years of playing bass guitar in various funk and rock bands since his teens, to producing electronic music, to DJing and playing live techno, Giulio is an instrumentalist, performer and producer, as well as a teacher of all the above.

His first interaction with Ableton Live happened back in 2004. From then onwards, Giulio spent a lot of his time and energy to learn more, constantly broadening his knowledge.

Giulio是一位有经验的和全面的音乐家——从他十几岁开始，至今已经拥有超过20年的在各种音乐领域工作的经验,Giulio是一个乐器演奏家,演员和制片人,以及这些方面的专家。

他与Ableton的第一次互动发生在2004年。从那以后，Giulio花了大量的时间和精力去学习，不断拓宽他的知识。

Giulio graduated from APM Institute in music production in his native Italy, where he learned about sound acoustics, MIDI protocol, ProTools, Logic Pro, songwriting and studio recording. During his life in Spain he started DJing (2006) but also developed as an Audio & Visual technician, as well as mixing and mastering engineer. He attended every Ableton Live course available that later made him into an established lecturer, teaching Ableton Live in Ibiza, Mexico, Italy, Spain and now China.

Giulio毕业于意大利的APM音乐学院，在那里他学习了声音学，MIDI协议，ProTools, Logic Pro, songwriting和studio录音。在西班牙的生活中，他创立了DJing(2006年)，同时也发展成为一名音频和视觉技术人员，以及混合工程师。他参加了每一场Ableton的现场课程，后来让他成为了一名知名的讲师，他曾经在墨西哥、意大利、西班牙任教和现在来到中国。

Giulio currently teaches production, mixing and mastering in Ableton Live in CTRL Music Academy (focused on electronic music production for teenagers and adults) and ROLLING MUSIC School for children aged 10-15 where aside from Ableton classes he teaches basic music theory and bass.

Giulio also organized monthly livestream courses of Ableton Live on PYRO TV and interactive workshops at Crazy Lotus Festival.

Giulio目前在教授Ableton的制作、混合和掌握，并在CTRL Music Academy(专注于青少年和成人的电子音乐制作)和为10-15岁的儿童开设音乐课程(除了Ableton课程之外，他还教授基础音乐理论和bass)。

Giulio在PYRO电视和互动研讨会上，还组织了Ableton的每月直播课程，

He’s a well known figure in Shanghai’s night life, playing funk, disco and minimal techno. Giulio performs Live Techno changing and twisting the reality of sound into a new, unexplored territory for the ears. Aside from that, he’s involved in several projects that combine electronic music and live instruments: Queen of Shanghai, Sparkling Elements, he toured with Dolce Wang and still plays bass in Xiban Project and Tappeti Volanti.

With a man of such immense experience and reputation, what more could we expect rather than an amazing experience during our three-hour Ableton Live Workshop in Aurora club. The workshop starts 6 pm, followed by an After Party in the same venue featuring GIULIO PERINELLO LIVE + Back2Basics Residents NIGLS & VLTRA_U from 10 pm until we drop!
