This will be an evening of fun, friendship and culture at our Tongzhou centre in Xiaopu Village, to celebrate the Year of the Dog! We’ll learn about Chinese customs at this time of year, make dumplings and paper cuts and learn to paint a traditional Chinese ink painting while enjoying snacks and tea! Then we’ll welcome the new year with firecrackers at midnight!

All materials, transportation and food is included. Pickup is at 4pm at Tuanjiehu subway station exit D and drop off will be around 1am at the same place.

Here is the evening’s schedule:

16:00 - Pickup from Sanlitun Tuanjiehu
17:00 - Arrive, have tea and snacks
17:15 - 17:45 - Welcome talk
18:00 - 19.15 - Paper cutting class
19:30 - 21:15 - Making dumplings and eating dinner
21:30 - 22:45 - Chinese painting class
23:00 - 23.45 - Presentation - Customs, language, feng shui & horoscopes
12:00 - See in the New Year with firecrackers and sparklers
1am - Dropoff at Tuanjiehu

All of the above, including transportation, food, drinks, materials, activities and native-English speaking hosts, can be booked for just 788RMB per person/1388RMB for 2 people. You'll also be able to take home the awesome works of art you created to impress friends and family!
