Ben & Titi Hill formed Hill Dynamics with the purpose of providing training, coaching and counselling services in order to help people grow in their personal and professional lives. As educators, counsellors and parents, they are especially passionate about strengthening families and working with parents and education professionals in order to help children grow to become emotionally healthy individuals. They enjoy delivering training workshops to parents, educators, community groups and corporate organisations to help individuals reflect on their own thought patterns and behaviours and connect more effectively with their children.

Ben qualified in the UK as a teacher in 2002 and worked in the field of education for the majority of his career, holding leadership positions both in the UK and internationally. In 2010, Ben helped to set up a flagship charity to help children in the most socially deprived borough in London realise their potential and overcome barriers to achieve success. By leading a team of 26 staff, the foundation reached over 30,000 young people a year and gained a national reputation. Throughout his career, he developed an interest in factors that affected the social and emotional development of children and their ability to acquire adaptive schemas (positive thought patterns, learned behaviours, ways of processing the world). As a licensed facilitator of GEP, he now enjoys combining his educational and managerial experience with his counselling practice to provide coaching and mentoring for parents in family dynamics.

Titi is a counsellor and psychotherapist registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). She has a BSc degree in Integrative Counselling from the University of Surrey and he has over 12 years’ experience working in the area of mental health, as well as in school-based settings in the UK and in China. Her practice as a therapist includes using existential, person-centred, psychodynamic or cognitive behavioural approaches in order to best meet an individual's needs and she is particularly equipped to help adults who work with children to understand their cognitive and emotional development.

Together, Ben & Titi will facilitate an introductory workshop based on the 'Good Enough Parenting' programme. GEP is a programme using evidence-based strategies built on Schema Therapy, founded by Dr. Jeffrey Young, that teaches parents, carers and educators how to meet core emotional needs and develop positive thinking patterns in children. The programme uses Movie Therapy as an engaging tool for interactive conversations with examples of how to apply current research to adult/child interactions and practice. This workshop will introduce the full GEP course that consists of a further four sessions of training, with each one focusing on meeting one of the four core emotional needs.
