The Embassy of Brazil teams up for the second time with Get Connected to bring to China another important name of the Brazilian electronic music. In June the Brazilian DJ and producer Alex Justino will be touring four Chinese cities supported by the DJ Juliana Lima, also Brazilian, resident in Beijing.

The Get Connected concept was created three years ago by Juliana Lima, a Brazilian DJ based in Beijing. It all started by bringing DJs based in Shanghai to play at the capital's Lantern Club. Over time, Get Connected expanded its reach, also becoming a music studio, producing electronic music and rock.

Get Connected Brazil is an association between Get Connected and the Embassy of Brazil in China. In the same way DJ Juliana Lima was able to bring a taste of Shanghai’s electronic music scene to Beijing, this association now aims at showcasing the vibrancy of Brazilian electronic sounds in China.

Juliana has a long story in this country. At the age of 18 she left Brazil, traveled around the world as a model to finally settle in China, where her musical journey started. In 2010, Lima made her official debut as a DJ, working her way to the best clubs in Beijing and Shanghai.

For the Get Connected Brazil first DJ tour, the Embassy and Get Connected invited DJ Komka. A career spanning fourteen years turned João Komka into one of the most active professionals in the music business of Brasilia, who collaborates with the most outstanding Brazilian electronic producers, like Gui Boratto and Victor Ruiz. Komka and Lima performed together last December in four Chinese cities last year: Tianjin, Shanghai, Beijing, and Chengdu.

For Get Connected Brazil II, the invited guest is the DJ and a producer Alex Justino. He is a member of the casting of D-AGENCY, the most important DJ agency in Brazil, and the owner of Nin92wo, one relevant brand in the Brazilian electronic phonographic market. He has already performed in the main clubs throughout Brazil.
