The British deluxe edition of Swan Lake was created and composed by the celebrated world famous master ballet choreographer Mr. Derek Deane. It was premiered by the English National Ballet at the London Royal Albert Hall.

The Shanghai Ballet rehearsed and performed a brand new Swan Lake in 2015 to commemorate the 120th anniversary of this great ballet work. Derek Deane proposed the concept of making the Albert Hall a round swan lake, and eventually created an unprecedented swan ocean for the Shanghai Ballet. This was the first time that Swan Lake was performed in a theatre with a deluxe swan flock lineup, not only in China but also in the world. See it again at the NCPA on June 17th and 18th.
