Still a good place a few years down the line. Good mix of people, warm atmosphere and drinks are about the right price. The flavoured rums aren't gourmet stuff, but fun to do a few of these with friends. I'm occasionally reminded of the "tapas" element, but don't think I've ever seen anyone eating here ...
Only downside is in the summer it gets just a bit too busy, although you can spill out onto the street for some relief. For my money, still the best bar on Nanluoguxiang, though they shouldn't sit back and leave it as it is or else they'll eventually be eclipsed by someone else.
There's not a whole lot to say about the Sanlitun Salud, but it is a reasonable place to duck into for a drink in adverse weather (half the times i've been there were in the middle of heavy storms or snowfall!). It's got a friendly feel and is miles better than the other cheapo bars on this strip. I'll keep going here for sure.
