FORQ is an instrumental quartet with a dynamic sound and a penchant for sonic exploration. The group is composed of world-class improvisers, but it is their unusually memorable, genre-blending songs that leave the most lasting impression. Seven of these songs make up their third album Thrēq (pronounced “threek”), which was released in late 2017. Originally founded by keyboardist Henry Hey (David Bowie, Empire of the Sun, Jeff "Tain" Watts) and bassist Michael League (Grammy-winning leader of Snarky Puppy), Forq is now joined by guitarist Chris McQueen (Snarky Puppy, Bokanté), drummer Jason "JT" Thomas (Roy Hargrove’s RH Factor, Marcus Miller, D’Angelo) and bassist Kevin Scott (Wayne Krantz, Jimmy Herring, Col. Bruce Hampton). They have toured across the US and Europe and performed at international festivals including the North Sea Jazz festival, Jazz A’ Vienne, Udine Jazz Festival, Upstream Festival, and the GroundUP Festival in Miami Beach.

· 1 award for "Best Latin-Jazz Album" for the recording and the arrangements of the album "Gussanova" of Chinese singer Gu Feng winner of the China Golden Disc.

In his early age he studied accordion and piano with world's well known musicians such as Ms. Christine Meyr、Fred Hersch、David Kikoski、Barry Harris、Roberta Piket、Ted Rosenthal、Jeb Patton,to name a few.He played music with world famous musicians, such as Lee Konitz, Rufus Reid, Mark Murphy, Bob Mover, Anthony Hart, to name a few and he wrote arrangements and compose for the famous chinese musicians such as Langlang, Cuijian, A-mei to name a few.

Moreno's performance covers broad range of music styles from classic, jazz, Latin, Pop to other fields.He has been performing Classical and Jazz music recitals all around the world participated in numerous master classes and International Music Festivals.He started playing piano and accordion with several bands at the age of 9. So far, he has successfully held several classical piano concerts all over the world. He has come to China's Poly Theaters yearly since the 2009, for his classical piano solo tour. He was invited to perform at the 29th Beijing Olympic Games.He worked as an arranger for BMG and PolyGram Recording Company and produced a lot of music compositions.

Moreno毕业于克莱利音乐学院,自幼接受正统的学院音乐教育，曾从师如Christine Meyr、Fred Hersch、David Kikoski、Barry Harris、Roberta Piket、Ted Rosenthal、Jeb Patton等多位一流国际音乐家。与他合作过的世界级爵士音乐家如Lee Konitz、Rufus Reid、Mark Murphy、Bob Mover、Antonio Hart等,他还与中国的著名音乐人如郎朗、崔健、张惠妹有过合作。

Moreno的演出风格横跨了古典、爵士、拉丁、流行等多个领域。Moreno从9岁开始就在乐队里进行表演，迄今他已在世界各地成功举办过多场古典钢琴演奏会。从2009年他每年在中国保利剧院进行古典钢琴独奏巡回演出。并且他的爵士乐三重奏足迹也遍布世界各地，并参加了众多大师班和国际音乐节。他也是第29届北京奥运会组委会指定钢琴家之一。他曾在BMG以及宝丽金唱片公司担任编曲，并创造出大量的音乐作品。

Moreno有超过20年的教学经验，足迹遍布美国、意大利、中国等。从1998年定居北京，执教于北京现代音乐学院爵士系，在此期间培养出上千名爵士乐专业学生，在校任教期间多名学生考取（美国伯克利音乐学院、曼哈顿音乐学院、维也纳音乐学院）为中国的音乐教学事业做出了突出的贡献。多次被评为北音风云人物，并编撰《The Jazz Ensemble》等30本爵士乐专业教材。也多次在全中国各地开办大师班课程。2013年，他参与ISPIANO钢琴教学软件制作。他在ISPIANO里记录了关于古典、流行音乐和爵士乐等2000 首曲子。

他常年在意大利、法国、英国、中国、日本、菲律宾、美国、瑞士、德国等国家进行演出，意大利RAI电视台曾多次对他进行专访，中国教育电视台、中央人民广播电台、北京广播电台、天津广播电台、北京电视台BTV5、中国国际广播电台、大连电视台、中国日报、深圳晚报、新浪网、腾讯网以及国内外一些知名媒体都对Moreno进行过专访。2013年中国大型纪录片《传奇中国》第360期、2014年大连电视台全新访谈类节目《为你而来》对Moreno进行个人专访

Simone Schirru is an Italian guitar player recently moved in Beijing, He started is professional career in 2006 in Italy. He was the winner in 2005 and 2008 of the International Festival Ai Confini tra Sardegna e Jazz as best guitar-player and best Band.

Since then He played with Guitto Gargle, Cuenta Contemporanea, the solo project Improsa Tongue, Ajo-jo mandi & the Youngers, Progetto Nudo, Pixeldrama, in many festivals and prestigious places around the world crossing Italy, Belgium, United States and India.

In Belgium was a part of the well-know soul band Man on Fire and the Soul Soldiers. He also graduated in Master Jazz Guitar at Lemmens Institute in Belgium studying with some of the best Belgium musicians in the country as Peter Hertmans, Frank Vaganée, Ron Van Rossum and Bo Van Der Werf.

At the beginning of 2016 as part of the Brussels Quintet He is being playing for three months at JZ Hangzhou. Since then He already traveled around China playing also in Shanghai, Suzhou, Changzhou, Xiamen, Hefei, Baoding, Harbin, DaTong, Beijing and Taiwan.

Nowadays He is teacher at the Contemporary Music Academy of Beijing while performing around Beijing leading different bands under his name such as RoOom, a trio that performs his original compositions, and Invisible a tribute of Ornette Coleman's music. He is co-leading the trio Bad Monk and he is sideman in several other bands : Leela, Tongues of Fire, Core and many more.

From end of 2016 is a part of the BlueNote Beijing Jazz Orchestra, with the BNBJO He performed regularly at Blue Note Beijing, the BNBJO occasionally hosted special guest as Micheal Mossman, Jaleel Shaw and Mark Turner.

Knxwledge (pronounced “knowledge”) is a Hip-hop beatmaker / producer raised in central New Jersey and Philadelphia, now relocated in Los Angeles. Standing out in a sea of producers rising from the L.A. beat scene, the prolific artist and record collector produces his sound by creating a pastiche of soul, jazz and hip-hop that melts together in a style uniquely his own. He has produced for hip-hop powerhouse Kendrick Lamar on “To Pimp a Butterfly” (produced ‘Momma’), which went platinum and was awarded for US Grammy “Best of Rap Album” in 2015. He’s also produced for other MCs/Singers such as Joey Bada$$, Earl Sweatshirt, Action Bronson, Omarion and Ghostface Killah, and has over 80 releases of remix and beat tape collections on his Bandcamp.

His official debut album “Hud Dreems” was released from Stones Throw in 2015. Soon after, he formed the duo NxWorries, with Anderson .Paak. The first single ‘Suede’ gained much attention, of which piqued the interest of Dr. Dre. In 2016, NxWorries released their full-length album “Yes Lawd!”, which received critical acclaim. In 2017, released a self-remix album of NxWorries “Yes Lawd! Remixes” and currently working for a new solo album.

One of the original turntablists, J.Rocc might be best known as a member of the world famous Beat Junkies, of which he co-founded in 1992, but he’s done just as much on his own as in a group setting. He began DJing in the mid-'80s with a California group named PSK. Soon after forming, the Beat Junkies became a seminal force in the rise of instrumental hip-hop. In addition to numerous mixtapes and his own production & full album "Some Cold Rock Stuf" from Stones Throw, J.Rocc has been the DJ for Madlib's live shows since the early 2000's. He was also the 3rd member of Jaylib (Madlib & J Dilla) during the group's live events, and collaborated with Madlib on Beat Konducta Vol. 5-6: A Tribute to J Dilla. He also DJs for Black Star (Mos Def/Yasiin Bey + Talib Kweli) and has become an official resident DJ for Dr. Dre’s Beats 1 x Apple Radio Show “The Pharmacy” with legendary west-coast hip-hop producer/DJ, Battlecat since 2016.

Fresh off touring and releasing their album in Japan, tonight The Sino Hearts release their new album "Leave the World Behind" here on their home turf of Beijing! First formed by signer Zhong while living in Vienna, since moving back to Beijing the power-pop trio has toured all across China and gained quite the following of friends and fans with their upbeat nature and pure rock n' roll vibes. Come out and support the band tonight on their special!

One of the opening acts are The Clean Boys from Denmark! Zhong from The Sino Hearts organized The Clean Boys current tour across China, and tonight the trio from Denmark kick off their return to China in support of good friend Zhong! The Clean Boys trekked all across China a few years ago, and encountered one drunken show and meal after another, had to make a trip to the hospital because of an unfortunate scooter accident, and then finished off the final few shows of the tour broken bones and all!
