Enjoy dancing to the beat of Kizomba with a free one-hour lesson by a professional teacher. Originating from Angola, Kizomba is not like Salsa, where you move quickly and wildly. It’s slow and steady. It’s easy to get started and, even if you’re on your own, you’ll always find a dance partner.

Free entry
Every Tuesday from 9pm

Four To The Floor represents the classic rhythm of House. The steady, uniform beat of a kick drum in 4/4 time could be monotonous and boring by itself, but when stylised with a bassline, a melody, and additional percussion, it's the kind of music that will take over your entire body.

DJs: Nassdak and Yauman

London based Arnaud Le Texier returns to Migas to set a steady tech groove in Migas’ newly renovated downstairs club. The Fabric regular is joined by friend and Migas resident, Nassdak, for a night that will definitely go the distance.

More info on Arnaud Le Texier

Arnaud Le Texier’s musical career dates back to the 90’s, when he first began managing record shops and building his knowledge and distinct taste. After a five year residency at Paris’ Queen Club, he began to gain broader recognition around Europe as a DJ and a producer. Over the years Arnaud has been involved with a number of record labels, including Atcha Recordings, Kailash, Safari Electronique, and, more recently, Children Of Tomorrow. For the last decade, Arnaud has been based in London where he’s become a regular behind the decks at Fabric.

Vinyl only! Some people say that real DJs only play vinyl. The jury is out on that one, but in the meantime, Migas brings you an all-analog night of disco and house music, featuring DJs Boflex and Watermelon and their respective record collections. Keep on spinnin’.

This light festival, for Beijing's Design Week Lighting Festival, lasts until October 16. Taikoo Li Sanlitun selected ten world-renowned light installations, including "Control Not Control", "Much Better Than This", "Reflecting Holons", "LED Carpet", "To Be Reproduced", "Pedestrian", "The Unfettered Language of Machines", "Listening Bamboo", "Light Battle" and "Destructive Observation Field".

These ten pieces will be placed in prominent locations around Taikoo Li Sanlitun South and North, and visitors are welcome to approach and watch or interact with the artworks. This year, the Light Festival focuses more on innovation and art of life, and has become a significant public art project of Beijing Design Week. The creators of these works – light art designers from China, Netherlands, Germany and Canada – will attend the lighting ceremony to personally introduce their works.
