Review of Lily's American Diner

my boyfriend and I checked out Lily's American Diner yesterday and both are currently suffering the consequences with severe food poisoning- fever, rushing to the toilet, etc. We are certain it's from Lily's because Lily's was our only meal for the day. I ordered the waffles and sausages, my boyfriend ordered the jumbo platter. We've tried to deduct the main root of the food poisoning and concluded that it was the sausages as that is the only item that we both shared and had in common in our seperate dishes. So sad that this diner has been the one restuarant that has made me sick here in my year in China- despicable and disappointing. I wish I had checked out the Beijing reviews below before coming to this hellhole.

wow, bad luck

I have lived next to Lily's (Shuangjing) since its opening maybe 8 or 10 years ago and have probably eaten there hundreds of times. My favorite menu item is the Jumbo breakfast (with the sausages).

I have never once gotten sick

PS you really only eat one meal a day on weekdays?

I don't know what you are talking about. I am myself a regular there and know at least 5 other people who order from Lily's almos on a daily basis. We've never ever had a single issue.

So either your experience a fluke or you're lying to make them look bad.

How am I suppose to eat more than one meal when the first meal I ate made me feel like shit? Keep your comments about eating habits to yourself- everyone eats different amount of meals a day.
