Mucha 木茶

Mucha lies opposite the monstrous glitzy clubs of Gongti Xilu in a small strip of similar cafes/bars. The outside area offers shaded wicker chairs with inviting wooden tables, and there’s comfortable seating indoors. Mucha also has hidden depths with a spacious study-friendly backroom and private chambers featuring mock opium beds for debauched lounging. Ultra-friendly staff can slake your thirst with freshly squeezed juices, such as a refreshing Thai lemon or stimulate the senses with a reasonable selection of espressos, classic cocktails and wines. The vegetable pizza is a pleasant surprise, with a thin base and light crisp crust. Other dishes include coconut chicken curry. Lunch specials range from RMB 30-35.
