This year’s Winter is forecasted to be coldest since 2012; as the comfort food cravings and the growing need for toasty hibernation sets in, there is no better place to warm the soul than at blue frog bar & grill. Your favorite neighborhood restaurant will be serving up Winter renditions of the ultimate comfort foods - with a kick! Our chefs have been creating exciting new dishes that will add a sprinkling of spice and a whole lot love to those long Winter nights.


In addition to all of the blue frog classics, we’re introducing six new dishes that are sure to keep you coming back all Winter long. Your taste buds will be tantalised with the unique array of spicy freshness, that will keep you warm from the inside out. From our Sambal Shrimp Stew, to the Chili BBQ Burger, to the Red Curry Seafood and our Asian-Infused Poached Sea Bass - whatever your flavor, the blue frog menu will taste a treat this Winter.


Asian-Infused Poached Sea Bass


Our premium sea bass is softly poached with New Zealand blue mussels, locking in its unique taste of the sea. This nutrition rich dish is served with a healthy side of grilled mushrooms and broccoli, as well as a mirin chili dressing. This Japanese inspired dish pays homage to the freshness of the seafood and the delightful spice that gives this hearty dish its unique flavors.


Sambal Shrimp Stew


Our Sambal Shrimp Stew will be the dish that packs a punch and yet keeps you coming back for more. We have sourced fresh shrimps and accompanied them with a zippy South East Asian flavor. The rich sambal chili sauce will leave with a pleasant tingle on the tongue, which is balanced with green peas and fluffy potatoes, all served on a bed of fragrant steamed Thai rice.


Red Curry Seafood


Our quality catch of the day gets an aromatic curry treatment - we choose only the highest quality of seafood from around the world to create this truly memorable Winter dish. Calamari from Argentina, blue mussels from New Zealand, quality fresh shrimps and Icelandic cod are all delicately bathed in a rich red curry sauce. Our ultimate comfort dish is topped with sweet pineapple and refreshing coconut milk, served with crusty baguettes or steam Thai rice on the side for your dipping pleasure.


Chili BBQ Burger


No visit to blue frog is complete without sinking your teeth into one of our famous American style burgers. Our signature patty of Australian imported beef is char-grilled to perfection, before being topped with fresh avocado, cheddar cheese, arugula, deep-fried green chili and sweet chili BBQ sauce. This burger is sure to be a blue frog crowd pleaser - each mouthful will be a fiery, melt-in-your-mouth experience!


Meatball, Chili Lime Cheddar Cheese & Arugula Salad


Whilst “salad” may not be the first dish to spring to mind during Winter, we promise that after one bite of our Meatball, Chili Lime Cheddar Cheese & Arugula Salad, this blue frog classic will become synonymous with “must order”. Our meatballs are crafted in our kitchen from 100% Australian imported beef, fried until juicy and served with fresh arugula, deep-fried onions and lashings of balsamic reduction. This Winter, we’ve given this dish a spicy spin with the addition of chili lime cheddar cheese and a tasty paprika mustard sauce.


Mexican Chicken Fajita Sandwich (only valid on Shanghai, Beijing and Nanjing venues)


Our chefs are dedicated to creating the perfect Italian focaccia - each batch is baked in house, lathered in olive oil and made with quality flour. This season, we will be topping our fresh focaccia with a comforting classic. Enjoy roasted fajita chicken, which has been smothered in bandito guacamole, chipotle mayo, arugula and spicy jalapeños. Our Mexican Chicken Fajita Sandwich is not only a warming taste of Winter, but a fresh tasting reminder that Spring will follow shortly!

There is more than one way to combat the cold - with the end of the year drawing near, there has never been a better time to unwind and indulge in your favorite tipple. blue frog will be introducing two new cocktails for the chilly season that will surely soothe your insides and keep you merry.


blue frog will be dolling out a holiday classic – blue frog Mulled Wine. We have carefully combined rich red wine with the aromatics of clove, star anise and honey, completed with a dash of brandy for good measure. For those seeking a sweeter finish, indulge in our Bombardino cocktail, which combines a rich, sweet advocaat with a warm milk foam and chocolate powder. With every sip, we hope that you’ll leave us feeling warm to the core, enjoying a cold Winter to remember.
