March 16,2009 A who's-who of food lovers, epicureans and Beijing's finest restaurateurs, including iconic French chef Daniel Boulud, turned out for the sixth annual Beijinger Reader Restaurant Awards at the Hilton Hotel on March 16, hosted by actress/creative entrepreneur Ai Wan and CNN journalist Steven Jiang and featuring musical entertainment by the Beijing Big Band. Element Fresh, Maison Boulud and Da Dong were among the top winners. Check out our upcoming April issue for the full results. Sponsors Stella Artois, ASC Fine Wines and One East provided beer, wine and finger food to the guests and presents for the goodie bags, while Davidoff Lounge, The Hutong, Pantry Magic, Awfully Chocolate, Immersion Guides and Hoegaarden all donated free vouchers or products to attendees and voters' lucky draw winners.
