Thursday, December 1 Sofitel decided to add a bit of French flair to their tree lighting ceremony with a unique Christmas tree made of delectable French macarons (macaroons) prepared by the hotel's pastry team. It took the pastry team more than a week to create the 5000 macarons to decorate the tree.
