The Beijinger 2012 Reader Bar & Club Awards Party: Part 1
Saturday, May 19 the Beijinger held its ninth annual Reader Bar & Club Awards party on May 19, 2012 at Sanlitun Soho. Around 1,200 guests attended throughout an afternoon packed with drinks, food and fun to see Migas, Mao Mao Chong, Spark, Xiu, First Floor and many others pick up the most sought-after accolades in Beijing nightlife. DJs Fuego, Nassdak and Yauman played the tunes, with visuals from VJ Ink of Neuron VJ. Mandinga Beijing put on a capoeira show, Ultimate Band Crew brought some reggae sounds, Belita Jewelry presented a swimsuit fashion show and teamed up with 7 Days to showcase the latter's summer collection, and there was Zumba courtesy of D&D Entertainment. Hosts Kim Douglas and Elyse Ribbons held everything together, while sponsors including T.G.I Friday's, Ezee Beverages, Khatoon Restaurant, Khajuraho Restaurant, Event Animal, Vandergeeten, Mackmyra Swedish Whisky and Cheers Wine kept the audience refreshed with some great food and drinks.
