The selection is reasonably good (not great, but good), the prices not too bad, customer service in the aisles is good, but the customer service at the till is horrendous (even by Chinese standards). Every time I go, there will be several "staff" behind the new Service Counter / Till, and only 1 or 2 tills open. Today, there were 11 staff behind the counter, 1 till open, and a line-up of customers at least 20 strong. This is the norm, so be prepared for a 30 minute wait to pay.

It is almost as bad as Century Mart (although it impossible for anywhere to be as bad as Century Mart's checkouts)!

0 for checkouts - 3 or 4 for the rest - overall, 2 stars.

It would sound unbelievable if I hadn't seen it myself.

Last time I was there there were 7 people behind the desk and only two of them operating tills.

WTF are they doing?
They're not just standing there, the seem to be endlessly rearranging shelves and boxes behind the desk.

The girl on the till I queued at would regularly walk off and join the paper shufflers.

I could have easily just walked out with all the stuff.
