I went to the Dongsishitiao location for a large dinner with about 10 people last week. Even though we had a reservation for 7:30pm, we didn't get seated until 8:15. We were placed in the corner where it was difficult to get the attention of any of the staff. I believe it took 15 minutes to get soup bowls, which weren't delivered when they delivered the soup to our table in the first place. As for the duck itself, it was skinny and didn't yield much meat. The skin was also too thick and not crispy at all. It was a disappointment.

That said, some of the other dishes were quite good. I especially liked the duck soup served in an orange. It's nearly criminal how much they charge for their dishes. For a better bang for your buck, I think Jingzun Peking Duck is a better place to go. It might not be as impressive in size and decor, but for quality and service, it's better than Da Dong.
