Too bad it's not possible to leave negative star ratings to offset all the fake five star reviews. The food here is utter garbage (I'll take Burger King, McDonald's, Subway or some other American fast food chain over this place any day) and extraordinarily overpriced for what you get. If you like nasty processed meat and "bread" products that taste and feel like cardboard, all for 40+ kuai per customer, this might be the place for you.

don't forget the starchy fries.. and that orange goop they call a cheese sauce.

nathans should have just stayed a hotdog stand

It's sad to see extreme differences of opinion on Nathans. It could well be that competition is taking it out on each other or they are just so desperate for business that they are willing to do anything.
So to compare to my favorite fast food shop,
Price=about the same
Taste= I prefer HolyFries because it's more authentic and the owner guarantees his quality. If you complain he makes it right.
Cheese= I have to agree, Nathans is bad. HolyFries has been out for months and honestly I don't miss it. He's got Mac and cheese for a fries and hot dog topping but recently he really expanded the burgers. So about half the time I order the burger and fries, with an AW Rootbeer comes to 35 at lunch and 40 late night.

I'm going to give you an honest comparison next week when I go to Nathans.... If it's still open.

@nanmanzi - I don't expect you to respond to me, but I would like to hear more about your negative experience at Nathan's so that I can figure out what went wrong. May I ask what you ordered and when you came? Our hot dogs are 100% beef and the same recipe that Nathan's has been proud to serve since 1916. Our burgers are also 100% beef, not processed meat. If you will allow, I would like to apologize in person and treat you to another try at Nathan's Famous. Please contact me directly at kristen.lum@marcusfoods.com to arrange a time to come in and thank you again for your feedback. We truly do take all feedback very seriously and will do our best to improve.

@bobobear: Sorry to hear you're not a fan of our fries and cheese, but we are keeping the same recipes as the original Nathan's in Coney Island, New York. Our crinkle cut fries are made from Washington red potatoes and they are imported from the US and the same crinkle cut fries Nathan's has always served. Our cheese is also imported from the US and it's not meant to be freshly grated cheese (if that is what you are expecting), it's the standard cheese Nathan's has always served.

@Porter: Thanks for keeping an objective view and I look forward to reading your honest review of Nathan's after you come to try us out. I recommend the classic hot dog with mustard and relish or the crispy tenders. If you happen to see me in the restaurant, please don't be shy, come and say hi.

@kristenslu

Please don't call this "cheese" ... it's really disgusting what you put on your hotdog !

For the rest I like it Smile
