too many reviews -average place

Visited this place.Burgers are ok. Nothing like fatburger quality but ,nothing to crib either.
If you are staying in that area or are there shopping or are there is fine to have a burger.Breads are not great but still ok.
But nothing that would get you there just for the burger from a far off place.
I didnt try any other food.

Nathans is sure a lot better than most places! I have not seen the coupon but if I can really get a hotdog, fries, and a drink for 15 kuai I'm gonna go.
It really pisses me off that there are so many American Haters on this website. Americans freed the world to choice. You may not like American politics but American franchises rule. Just imagine Beijing with no KFC, MacDonolds, star bucks, Pizza Hut, or walmart. It would like be living in the not long ago dark ages pre 78.
So next time you call an American place just average just think how average this city would be without it. Let's have a Nathans in Wudaokou.

@ReneeLa there is already a good hot Dog Place in Wudaokou and it is that hole in the wall next to subway. The dogs are real tasty, it is owned by some foreign guy who said he started just for fun.

Are you really suggesting that it would be bad if there were no McDonalds, Starbucks, and KFC in Beijing? That would be wonderful!

It makes me sick when I go into a public place in China, and those are my only two options. I'd prefer being eating fried beetles to that horrible fat laden mush KFC calls chicken.

I know the place you suggest. It says LaPlaza on the window. 3 of my friends and I were out at the clubs when one suggested we go over for a burger. I don't want to throw them under the bus but that place is discusting! While to lady was playing around sneezing on her hands and blissfully deciding which bun to use 3 of us declined and took off in search of offers.
But that's not the point here. The point is that Nathans is no Chinese/foreigner want to be. They are an established entity and well respected in the USA. Enough so to offer franchises abroad.
If you want a hotdog in wudaokou I'm sure there are better places. I wrote review on Holy Fries because of the original mini donuts which can be found no where else! I didn't review the hot dogs there because I didn't but one. If Nathans does come to wudaokou I would support it.

Hey, ReneeLa, you get the Nathan's coupons in Raffles mall either at the customer service desk on the ground/first floor or coming out of Dongzhimen subway exit D just before the escalator(in a stand). Nathan's is not unbelievable, but it's pretty good. Ironic the review above starts "Too many reviews...": the reviewer posted five reviews in a few hours on this site. Couldn't really care, but it's funny, that's all.
