What's the Happy Hour on Pints?

Just read on thebeijinger Brussels' happy hour is "awesome" and "the best". Sounds good, but hard to believe any place in SLT has a similar happy hour to the Den(15rmb Carlsberg and 30rmb Guinness pints). Given that the Den plays all the sports I'm not a fan of and is just a watering hole for me, I would switch to a comparable place for beginning the night. So what's the Brussels happy hour on pints?

(Never been there. Rating based on average)

Hey - we don't beat the Den on Guiness price, and we don't have Carlsberg, though we do have a growing draft and bottled beer selection. I know you're looking for pints specifically, but the cocktails make our happy hour even better.

Here's our Happy Hour:

We have a ton of bottled beer - too many to list here. Some of my favorites are Maredsous Brown, Rogue Dead Guy, London Porter, and Cooper's.

We have every day specials on these, not just during happy hour:
Any of the 40 RMB bottles are 3 for 100
Any of the 30 RMB bottles are 6 for 150
^These can be mixed and matched

Give us a try - actually our normal prices aren't very high either, so we're a pretty good place to end your night, too.

Are you sure The Den happy hour prices are that low? Was pretty sure last time I was in The Den for happy hour, Carlsberg was 20RMB which is about on par with other happy hours in the SLT area. If it really was 15RMB it might be enough to sway me into actually setting foot in the place again. But I think they'd just about break even on 15RMB Carlsberg, and The Den certainly isn't a place that would be happy 'just breaking even', even on happy hour.

Just checked in on this site.

First of all, kudos to the Brussels guy/girl for attentiveness. That'll get a business farther than most in this city. I like that you admitted you don't/can't match the Den's happy hour pintwise. Actually, no other place does(as far as I know).

But for all you business owners, look into it. The Den has had their happy hour for years. They haven't closed their doors. (I'm sure one or two thebeijinger members knows more about the number crunch behind that special)

For Bambi, pretty sure there, man. Last time I was at the Den, a week or two ago, it was 15 a pint for Carlsberg. Been that way for years, 5-10 every day. By the way, share other good local happy hour info, if you got it.

Cheers, all
