My wife and I have been to Chef Too three or four times now. We usually only go for special occasions because it is out of our price range for normal meals. As always we are greeted by well trained waitstaff who speak very good English. They use nongfushanquan for the water they serve at the table which is a nice upgrade to the ¥5 tap water you have to pay for in Sanlitun.

Prices are maybe on the high side but I'd say they are pretty standard for a similar dining experience anywhere in the city.

Last time my wife ordered a New York Strip Steak and I ordered the BBQ Ribs. Both were very good and better than we had when we were in the US a few months ago.

They also do the little things that make it feel very American. Free water, free small appetizer, cloth napkins, free suckers at the door, free roll before the meal. All the little things make the experience worthwhile.

Overall I'd say this is a top notch American style grill as they have been around for some time and still maintain an American level of quality and service.
