they must have switched management or something. i used to like this place a lot. would go on special dates or bring some visiting guests there to show off, especially when the weather was nice and the balcony was open.
the food used to be, 3 out of 5 stars i would say, but the service and ambient more than made up for it.
the foreign guy (most probably french) that's always there is still very polite and knows what's up but maybe the french chef has left
and this annoying chinese guy who is always there now and acts like the owner has taken over and is ruining this place.

ok, so, food was tasteless and way overpriced. 3 sticks of meat which were supposed to be shish-kebabs and yet were smaller then your usual chinese chuanr sticks cost 70rmb.
the price was right for what you see on the picture. and this goes for most dishes on the menu. except nothing was even remotely close to look like it did on the menu.
what a joke.
i expected a plate of nice chunks of meat and i got three toothpicks with some chewy suspicious meat.
they even messed up the 'thai' rice. pretty sure it was just rice and not 'thai jasmine fragrance' rice. and all sticky like a construction workers' lunch.
the soup can NOT be called any kind of vietnamese soup. ever. it was chinese-whole-in-the-wall noodle soup.
escargot? hell no! wouldn't even dare advertise it as 'burnt snails drowned in oil'
the spring rolls were just sad.
for the 4th time they didn't have the rabbit dish i've tried to order and the couscous was as dry as sand.
im gonna stop before i begin repeating myself and work myself up again.

all in all, way overpriced, really bad food and i won't say bad service (although compared to the way it used to be, it is) but just poor, that's for sure.

and a note to the chinese idiot who seems to be owning it these days,
stop bringing your kids there and letting them jump around all over the place.

do yourselves a favor and save your time and money, avoid this place.
