They really have the service formula down at Haidilao. I love that they hand out bibs for people to wear and the "while you're waiting" snacks almost make you hope you have to wait to get a table. When our party asked for our single portions of food to be split into two plates so that both ends of our long table could reach what they wanted, they were more than happy to oblige, even after they brought the food out.
The condiment bar is amazing as well, with easily the widest selection of additions to one's dipping sauce than any hot pot place I've seen, plus some additional freebies like small veggie appetizers and fruit.
The quality of the food is the same as other spots and do mentally prepare yourself for the prices -- quite a bit higher than most.
