Review of Pizza Saporita
1

Pizza plus used to be a regular of mine. Good pizza, reasonable price, quick delivery. But like every other food operation in Beijing standards have rapidly deteriorated. Which I consider a great loss.

Now every pizza I get from them is soggy. They are not cooked long enough in the oven, the bar no longer hold up well. I have to cook for 5 mins more in my oven when it arrives to get it to its original standard.

2
My flatmate ordered one of their goats cheese based pizzas. The chese used had gone off. It was inedible. He threw it away and did nothing about complaining.

I've been getting dodgy stomach's the next day after eating their pizza. Often you can never know the source of such problems but this is the 4th time it's happened recently.

Either they have no management in place to maintain standards or their recent expansion had overstretched them. Which is extremely typical in the china food chain. I'm just annoyed. Annoyed at seeing a good business going to ruin and having no visable recourse to complain. Not that I like complaining but to give feedback and assist. I only write this public review in order to reach out to whoever is in charge, but it would seem obvious that they are not around anymore.

I've had it twice in 2 weeks and solid both times. Got the egg and spinach one, just wasn't that great I felt but wasn't soggy. The other varities ordered at same order or within same week were spot on. Which branch did you order from?

Hi, how do you order pizza at Pizza Plus? Website? Phone? Any place to see the menu online?

THX

@crisba: you can do carry-out or delivery. They don't have a website (yet?) but you can call to place your order. Check TBJ's listings; hopefully they have all 3 phone numbers by now as these guys just opened their 3rd location in town. If not, branches should be able to share other branch phone no.'s with you if you're outside of their delivery zone. You can also check out weibo.com/piecepizzaplus

Enjoy your next slice...

I'm referring to the original dongzhimen branch. As a valued customer since day 1 I can safely and regrettably say the pizza you get today is not near what it used to be. Soggy in that a slice doesn't support is own weight at all and very hard to handle. Basically just undercooked.

I often go there (dongzhimen) and the pizza is great even better than it was before maybe becouse the owner is there quite often thesedays

Limp crust could have something more to do with the steam building up in the box and high humdity we've experienced recently. I know there are a few holes in the boxes but what they serve if you eat-in is the same was delivery. And when I eat-in, I notice the crust is crispier than delivery, but that shows your experiences are more likely due to steams building up and humidty than not being in the pizza oven long enough. If the crust is the only thing you're not happy with, why not ask them to cook it a bit longer?
