Review of Pyro Pizza
3

I've been going to Pyro/Sugar shack regularly since I moved to Wudaokou over a year ago for lunch and dinner. For lunch I usually get the buffet and dinner we usually end up ordering pizza and a salad or something.

The quality of the food is as good as always. I especially like how thin the pizza bases are here and I prefer it to somewhere like Kro's (just round the corner). I also like that they do a lot more "normal" toppings. I find a few other big pizza places put too much crazy stuff on pizzas. The cobb salad is also excellent at Sugar Shack.

However, today we went down for the buffet at 12 and it was so slow. We had 4 slices of pizza in an hour. It wasn't as if we were being missed out, they just didn't make enough pizza or didn't make it quick enough. At about 12:30 a few other tables came in and they were also sat waiting for a long time. One of them was a table of 9 so it meant either they would all get pizza and other tables would get none and have to wait another 10-15 minutes OR half of their big table would get pizza and the others would have to wait 10-15 minutes. In the end, we were just going up for soda refills as otherwise we'd be waiting for too long. After an hour, they seemed to realize they had to make more pizza so in the last twenty minutes they came round with two different pizzas.

Probably won't get the buffet again. A lot of people when we arrived weren't ordering it either, I guess I know why!

Good food, good drinks and a nice place but need someone to organize things better during the buffet.

I was there today.

I think it is true.

I did not have the same problems as you.

But it was better before. Pizza and salad did not seem fresh.

Maybe after a lot of people just ordered the buffet, they could not get enough money from it.

So they just made it lower quality.

Now indeed less people than before order the all you can eat pizza
