Would you like a worm with that?

I have been here twice now. The first time it was very nice, the second time the food was mediocre. Not just that, after I ate I was excited because I saved my salad for last. Well.... two bites in and I see something crawling on my fork. It was a worm. I immediately got grossed out and called for the waiter. I told him everything and he brought the salad back into the kitchen. Well, I at least expected the owner to come out and apologize but no, the waiter came back with a new salad. I looked at him like we was crazy. I had obviously lost my appetite, the last thing I wanted was a new salad. After refusing it, the waiter left. 15 minutes later the owner came out to check on our table to see if we needed anything. I don't like causing a scene so I didn't say anything about the worm until the owner asked me why I haven't touched my salad. Then I was mad. I told him calmly that I don't like worms in my salad. He then said, (not sorry but) it's good protein. The owner NEVER even said sorry for something that was his fault, let alone I still paid for my ENTIRE bill. I will never go back there again and would never recommend it to anyone else. The owners are not good people.
