Capital Bites: Brunch to Launch at Great Leap, Plus Mosto Celebrates Five Years

For the social among you, there's many a dining event around town this week to keep you fed.

Thursday evening brings the first night of celebrations at Mosto for their five-year anniversary. A special tasting menu will be offered through Sunday (check details here). Cheers to them for a good run so far.

Slow Food Beijing is hosting a wine and cheese tasting in partnership with French wine distributor East Meets West and local cheesemaker superstar, Liu Yang of Le Fromager de Pekin (photo of his Beijing Grey Camembert above). 6.30pm on Thursday – check the in-text link above for full details.

For more sips of wine, Capital M is holding a tasting with Patrick Cranley, wine ambassador in China for Napa Valley Vintners on Friday.

After a weekend of set menu tastings, Great Leap Brewpub is launching their a la carte brunch menu this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 11am-4pm). Biscuits and gravy, anyone?
