You need to be a good communicator and able to understand needs of people from many different cultures. You can be Chinese or international, provided you're fluent in English (other languages a plus, especially Chinese) with a "passion for China Admissions vision, culture, and services. Bilingual gym marketing manager
A small, high-end, foreign-owned, boxing-focused fitness gym located in the Lido area is in need of a full-time or part-time staff marketing manager. Being a small business, it seems you'll have your hand in every aspect of the business instead of being chained to a desk all day – a great learning opportunity for anyone passionate about fitness and looking to someday start their own gym. You'll be responsible for manning the front desk (at times), managing sales and client relationships, organizing activities to acquire new members and keep existing members happy, producing marketing and communication material, and generally doing whatever you can to grow the brand. The right candidate is bilingual (English and Chinese) and outgoing, with previous sales and marketing experience, and an interest in sports and fitness. The pay is "performance-based," which can be good or bad, but they "could" help with a visa for the right foreigner.

I love and hate these jobs: easy money at the price of your dignity. But I barely have any dignity anyway. But alas, I am not a tall, attractive foreign man. I appreciate the honesty of this ad, though. No fancy title covering up what your role really is: They literally call you "eye candy. Blonde Nordic types to the front of the line!" They're looking for Chinese-speaking foreign men to "clean up well" and chat with (we assume) Chinese people between Dec 18-25 in the CBD. Charm them like you would your dream girl on Tinder, because "one-line replies shall be discarded."

Bar manager at VSports
"Love food? Love beer? Love sports? Join us!" It sounds like an invitation to a church or a cult that has read my mind, but it's just a job listing for VSports. For those unfamiliar, it's a restaurant and sports bar (and a pretty nice one, at that) next to Vick's in the Gongti complex. They have it all: plenty of beers, nice cocktails, more TV screens than I could count, pool tables, dart boards ... it's a man cave away from home. They're looking for foreign bar managers and marketing directors, the latter of which they obviously need because they wrote those positions as "foreign mangers and marketing directers." It's a nice little spot and you could do worse than spending your evenings there, watching all the games.
