Friday, Mar 29

Addison Groove
Considered one of the seminal artists in the UK's bass and dubstep scenes, Addison Groove AKA Headhunter (pictured at top) has made a name for himself over the past decade for his stripped-down drum machine beats, acid basslines, and hip-hop vocals. If you have any interest in anything from UK dance to Chicago juke, this is likely to be where you end up on Friday. RMB 80, RMB 60 (before 11pm). 10pm doors. Dada

Dub × Visual Art Party
This Friday is also a time to explore what strange and beautiful things can happen when you pair the dub, reggae, ska, jungle, techno, and psytrance tunes of DJs Dice Twice, Dizzy Di, and Cad73 with the visual projections of VJ Yin. Free. 10pm. Soi Baochao

Franck Roger
Over the past two decades, DJ and producer Franck Roger has cut a path for himself and remained relevant in Paris' nightlife scene with constant reinvention. As the head of one of the most influential French labels, Real Tone, Roger has also helped to nurture new talent that aligns to his mantra of "staying true to the roots of house music." RMB 100, RMB 80 (advance). 10pm. Aurora

Oliver Hafenbauer
This Friday, Zhao Dai presents the unsung hero Oliver Hafenbauer, the man behind the Frankfurt underground techno club Robert Johnson. As the main creative mind of this legendary club and music director, Hafenbauer has helped his club remain one of the most vibrant and values in Germany to this day. Expect a set on house, deep house, techno, and electro. Price TBA. 10pm doors. Zhao Dai

Saturday. Mar 31

Andy Smith
The former warm-up DJ for the UK's pioneering trip-hop group Portishead, Andy Smith was also tasked with providing samples for the band's first two albums. Since then, Smith has continued his musical trajectory as an underground producer and also runs a weekly residency at Joe’s bar in Camden Town, north London. RMB 100, RMB 80 (before 11pm). 10pm doors. Dada

Nick Höppner
When it comes to big names in Berlin’s booming DJ scene, few loom as large as Nick Höppner. That’s due in no small part to his monthly residencies in the techno mecca’s esteemed Berghain club, not mention to his management of the equally prestigious Ostgut Ton label. Although having resigned from that position in 2012, Höppner is still considered "one of the backbones of today's house and techno underground." Price TBA. 10pm. Zhao Dai
