Urbrew’s Charity Motorbike Ride to Brew up Support for Library Construction Across China

On Apr 9, 2019, cutting-edge craft brewery Urbrew will launch an epic motorbike journey across ten Chinese cities, all in the name of charity.

Urbrew’s team of motorcyclists will set off from their home base, Handan in Hebei province, and travel across eight provinces, taking in Zhengzhou, Hefei, Hangzhou, Taizhou, Fuzhou, Putian, Shantou, Dongguan, Zhanjiang, and Haikou. Five thousand miles later, they will arrive in beautiful Sanya.

The charity motorbike ride is in aid of the “Library Plan,” which aims to raise funds for the establishment of libraries in rural primary schools in poor areas. Urbrew helps to use its brand influence to increase the visibility of the Library Plan and encourage more people to contribute to charity.

The ride is being supported by a number of bars and businesses along the route, who will also help to promote it. If you would like to take part yourself, you are welcome to visit the venues to meet the motorcyclists and raise a glass with them.

In addition to the aforementioned cities, Urbrew is encouraging other bars and venues to join in and support the activity, even if they aren't in one of the cities the ride is passing through. All you need to have is craft beer for sale and your venue can sign up to take part (which you can find by scanning the QR code on the poster). The signup form has only been live for a week and already more than 200 venues have expressed interest. Venues that pass the selection process will receive a couple of complementary cases of 40 Nautical Miles IPA to help their party go off with a bang.
