Movers & Shakers: Host a table at ChiFanForCharity 2021
Eat amazing food with nine awesome guests and enjoy a free-flow blow-out party at Grand Hyatt Beijing! Does this sound like charity work? It is!
Top restaurants across the city have kindly donated tables of 10 for the evening of November 6th for the 13th anniversary of what amounts to Beijing’s top charity social occasion, where the city’s movers and shakers dine out to raise money for charity.
This year we’re aiming to have over 60 restaurants participating, with seats priced at RMB 500 to RMB 1,600. This year our charity recipient will be Dandelion School, which offers migrant children the opportunity to finish compulsory education whilst staying near their parents.
We on the CFFC Committee 2021 are now gathering the names of interested individuals who would like to be table hosts.
Here’s a preview of how it will work:
Step 1: Express your interest in hosting a table by sending your name and email to Annie at chifanforcharity@outlook.com.
Step 2: On October 6th, you will be given a link to express your restaurant preferences. You’ll rank your most desired restaurants, in order of preference.
Step 3: Pay for your booking by remitting the total amount for your chosen preference.
Step 4: No later than two weeks before the event, we'll confirm your restaurant. Conflicting preference choices are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis, so early birds get the glacé worm with jus and compote. If your top choices are already gone, we will contact you to select an alternative choice. Remember there is high demand for table hosting, so you’ll need to be quick!
Step 5: You will be introduced to your point of contact at the restaurant, who will be holding your event programs and wristbands, which get you into the afterparty at Grand Hyatt Beijing.
We will also be holding a lucky draw and a tombola, with prizes from an amazing variety of sponsors. So keep an eye out on the night!
