Get Ready for the 2025 Beijing International Book Fair

The 31st Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) will be held at the China National Convention Center from Jun 18 to 22. Established in 1986, the BIBF is now the world's second-largest book fair and the most international book fair platform in Asia. Since its establishment, the BIBF has been committed to gathering global publishing power and promoting cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.

This year, exhibitors from more than 80 countries and regions at home and abroad will gather over four floors with a large number of high-quality books, cutting-edge digital publications, and cultural and creative products. It will be an engaging event with forums, conferences, book launches, shows, skill sharing, immersive experiences, and many other opportunities for connections with and within the publishing world in a variety of areas.

Themed Exhibitions

The 10th BIBF Picture Book Fair

In 2015, BIBF began the BIBF Picture Book Fair to respond to international development trends and meet the needs of the children’s book publishing market. Over the past decade, the Picture Book Fair has been a key exhibition area of BIBF, and its development has been supported by major publishing institutions. This year’s theme of “Open a picture book to see the world” provides immersive parent-child reading experiences, educational engagement, original illustrated book exhibition areas, 3-D book exhibition areas, science areas, creative activity areas and many other different and fun activities. The 3rd BIBF Art Book Fair

The BIBF Art Book Fair is committed to promoting the ecological development of cutting-edge publishing. It promotes creative cross-cultural collaboration; brings to the public the innovative dimension of artistic expression through the diverse presentation of book binding, typography design and printing processes; and makes every piece of paper a bridge connecting art, ideas and the public, inspiring cutting-edge industry dialogue and cooperation.

The 2025 BIBF Illustration Exhibition 

The BIBF International Illustration Contest aims to incorporate illustration elements into the BIBF Book Fair and provide an international professional display platform for outstanding illustrators from around the world, as well as build a bridge for the exchange and mutual learning of the illustration arts among countries. The winning entries from this competition will be exhibited during the BIBF 2025.
