Three Things for the Week Ahead in Beijing (Apr 6-12)

There's a special Qingming jazz show at Modernista, a book talk at The Hutong and WTF??'s first wine tasting of the year this week in Beijing.

Listen – The Xiang Xin Trio at Modernista

Normally closed on Mondays, Modernista is open tomorrow (Apr 6) for a special Qingming show. The Xiang Xin Trio will be taking over the stage for a laid-back jazz session to close out the holiday. The trio is headed by guitarist Xiang Xin, a graduate of Beijing Modern Music Academy and an active Beijing jazz performer. He'll be joined by Wang Wenhao on bass and Nick Cao on drums for an evening of relaxed jazz. Along with music, you can enjoy Modernista's usual offerings of Spanish eats and carefully crafted cocktails.

The Xiang Xin Trio will be performing at Modernsita from 9pm on Mon, Apr 6. Entry to the event is free.
