Opened by experienced bartenders, this cozy spot serves ample measures and has hourly drinks specials on the chalkboard. There's no draft beer - bottles of Tsingtao and Stella are the main beer choices - but most customers are drinking the affordable mixed drinks or cocktails. No matter whether the bar is heaving or you're the only customer, you can be sure your drinks will be prepared with care. A relaxed midweek ambiance gives way to party tunes from the weekend DJs. A balcony offers respite from the main room and a view of Bar Street below.

its really small~ hard to find a place to stand after 11...but still fun place to go~ especially if u r with friends and juz wanna grab some drinks and talk. not so much a place for mingling tho
btw the drinks r fine and cheap

I can't really explain why, but this is one of my favorite bars in Beijing. They have pretty good drink specials -- I think the one we always go for is the 30 RMB Stellas. Mixed drinks are not bad either, though beware of the Long Islands! The bartenders are generally fun, though sometimes it takes a long time to get your drinks. The atmosphere is what I like the most. It's just a very laid-back, chill atmosphere. A great place to start off the night when you want to get a few drinks and chat with some friends before going on to the loud dancing of the other clubs.

I agree with previous post. 2F has great atmosphere and good value for your money. But pls watch out for your personal items, especially purses! Try not leaving them lying around, even on your private couches. One of my friends lost her pouch on one of the nights we went there, and, obviously, the staff couldn't do anything about it. But other than that, it's a great place to start the night or get stuck in the night. :) Just make sure you order their mango margarita. I think it's the best in town.

Definitely a favourite oasis within the Sanlitun chaos.
Cool crowd and obviously the quality and price (=value) of the drinks is what keeps it so popular.
Great happy hour deal and the terrace seating is great in summer too.
It can get dancey after midnight but the only problem is that people can sometimes get too comfortable and forget to look after their bags and there have been some theft issues (wallets, iPhones etc going missing).

2F is a relaxing place. Great to go there during the week, as it is not too busy.
Never try their bar food, but drinks are quite ok. They have their own receipt, not the best, but it is a lot better than so many bars in Beijing. Specially in San Li Tun area, this place is not tooooo expensive.
Maybe because it is Chinese own, service is not good enough, i will bring friends there some times.

2f is a great small bar with amazing cocktails for CHEAP. This is the perfect location for club pre-gaming or to meet up with a SMALL number of friends. The seating is limited to a few booths, highboys and barstools so if you’re looking for a good group venue this might not be it. The quality to price ratio cannot be beaten though and the atmosphere is very relaxed with a “loungey” feeling. Perfect for after dinner drinks.

2F is one of my favorites. Jin the manager/barman is friendly, takes care making his drinks whether there are 3 customers at the bar or 30. You always seem to run into somebody you know here, which proves its popularity. Has one of the best happy hours in town, but never feels expensive. Good luck to them.
If I must say something negative, the music could do with some quality control.

Nondescript interior but they've got the hardest-working bartender in Beijing - constantly tasting and tweaking his concoctions, even with twenty people clamoring for service. Can't be beaten for value (most cocktails sub RMB 30) and good happy hour every day until 9pm.
