Good meat, good bread and good coffee.

This is not a review for BK, but as Nathan's is not in the directory, this was my only choice. Folks, Nathan's has, in my opinion, the best french fries in Beijing, yet it seems no one goes there. Soon the fries will be gone, I fear. The rest of the food is average, but almost all is cheap. With their omnipresent coupons, diners at Ginza mall can get a few different meals at Nathan's for under 20 quai. During a recent meal there, by chance I talked to some Nathan's higher-ups(the branch owner, and some American executive) and they told me, after I vehemently denounced the price of Coke at immoral local restaurants, that their fries are from Washington Red potatos shipped over, and therein lies the difference. Whether what they say is true or not, the fries are creamy and delicious. So, a shout-out to Nathan's. I hope they stick around. And BK, of course, is also good.

It's maybe good, but cannot compare with this others restaurants!

The chicken tenders there are soooooooo good, so much better than the chicken nuggets from those crapy Chinese owned Western Buffets like Haolunge, or even from McDonald's. And the burgers there are unbeatable. It tastes like real meat instead of bunch of fillings. I'm lovin'it more!

idk whats wrong with mcd's but why the hell does it taste different from my country? its just nasty here. but Burger King's whoper was amazing. i always go for the mushroom n swiss. the food appetizers was incredibly good an tasty, not nasty :p
it deserves a million visit. mcd's is only something that you can rely to when you have nothing else to rely on.

The only Burger King I've visited has been the one in the Russian market area. So far, the experience has been good:

1. Because it isn't as popular as McDonald's, there aren't the huge lines and scads of rude staring people who would as soon kill you as let you have a place to sit down.
2. The food actually tastes like what it's meant to taste like. McDonald's sandwiches mostly taste the same–like piles of congealed fat (or runny fat, depending on the temperature). You can discern meat in the burgers and chicken in the chicken at Burger King. Further, there are actual discernible vegetables on the sandwiches–real lettuce (not those three sad wilted shreds on the Mcd's), tomato and onion. Not that BK is health food by any means––it's just not such bad fast food as other places.
3. The coffee is actually very good, and cheaper than Starbucks'.
4. The staff are friendly and competent.
5. They deliver with a smile.
6. They'll make the sandwich the way you ask for it.
7. They have real BBQ sauce: not that pretend spicy junk.

The only downsides are:

1. The place is already a little sticky and dingy.
2. They labor under the common Asian delusion that burgers should have mayo, and their burgers are slathered in enough ketchup and mayo to drown three people. But since they'll make it for you without sauce, this isn't too big a deal if you remember to ask for no sauce at the beginning.

Not only the burgers real meaty at about less than 100 rmb two of us managed two burgers and a softdrink.
The service was good.
The fries done better than Mcdonald.
I was absolutely pleased with the meal.

I try to keep track of when my friends are flying out of Terminal 3 so that I have the excuse of sending them off to take the train out there and get myself a big whooper meal. Amazing stuff, totally blowing McD and KFC out of the water. Looking forward to trying the recently opened places downtown and hope they offer the same quality!

Glad to hear they're spreading throughout the city.
Will probably be a while before they penetrate within the inner-2nd ring though.

Until then I'll have to continue almost missing flights in order to get my Terminal 3 fix.
My habit has gotten so bad that I've even greeted my girlfriend's Mum off her flight holding a greasy brown bad full of tasty Whoppers.

I'm an addict. Help!

God I've been craving a whopper for so long now... they totally need to open a BK in Wudaokou... Whoopers are amazing!
