Been hearing about this place for a year, the dog park at chaoyang park east gate. So we finally went there, they increased the price recently to 20rmb per person, no charge for the dog. It looks like it is run by the Coolcat pet store which has a bunch of locations in Beijing. They have a dog training ring which looks like it was installed about 10 years ago, all the equipment looks filthy and the ring is covered with advertisements which are in disarray and ripped apart. We walked on, there is a swimming pool for dogs which was empty. There was dog poop everywhere, they don't bother to hire a few workers to clean that up. All the tables and seats were filthy with dust and old food debris. There was very little grass left in the entire area. There were cigarette butts all over the place. Just a disgusting place, which is surprising bc the regular park is quite clean as are the greens surrounding the park. I would never recommend anyone or any dog to visit this park.
