Cornerstone

With family-friendly service, this trendy place specializes in Italian "feel-good food", a designation that includes thin-crust pizzas, homemade pasta, and a variety of entrees, from codfish and salmon to lamb chops and grilled spring chicken, as well as reasonably priced set meals. Also has an impressive selection of traditional cocktails and reasonably priced New World wines.

Dissappointment has a new friend

From the near empty wine by the glass to the near empty menu of mismatched foods.

Nice decor, nice staff. But it's not even worth visiting to see how bad it is.

My new favorite Italian

Excellent food (especially recommend the diavola pizza and the lasagna), clean, good service, cheerful contemporary atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable for what you get... 50 - 70 RMB for pasta, pizza, and the like. Yes, a bit more than Annie's, but also much higher quality. I'd say the pizza is on par with or even better than places like Tavola or Sureno, both of which are almost twice the price once you factor in their mandatory service charges. I've definitely become a repeat customer. I'm surprised to see the place isn't more crowded... perhaps the location is a bit obscure and/or out of the way. Highly recommended!
