What I really like about Crystal Jade (at The Place), apart from the food and good service,is that you can often see large Chinese families (parents, kids and grandparents) eating here. It's usually a sign of a good Chinese restaurant in my experience. And the food is excellent. Try the delicious seafood rice noodles and the scallops tied up in snake beans. The shrimp stuffed eggplant is also very tasty (although a little oily as eggplant dishes tend to be). The service is attentive, efficient and they don't mind if you sit there talking until closing time (10pm). All in all, an excellent dining experience.
